films

i never lived in the 80's. maybe that's why i suffer with an addiction to watching as many 80's movies as i can. more often than not, i'll watch the classics (bueller, breakfast club, some kind of wonderful, back to the futures... and, in my opinion, the karate kid) and occasionally, i am introduced to one i have never heard of before.

in this case, its better off dead with john cusack. i havent even finished watching it yet, but based on what ive seen im pretty much convinced its going to end up being one of my favorite movies. cusack's young in this and he is hilarious.

going on with this whole old movie theme brings me to old tv shows. if you ever get the chance, i highly recommend watching the old 90210. i dont understand why but watching these shows and movies make me wish i lived in that time - and wasnt just 2 years old.

    Check out the following: Valley Girl (my all time fav), Pump Up the Volume, One Crazy Summer, The Sure Thing, The Legend of Billie Jean, Heathers, Pump Up the Volume, Untamed Heart (which, to be fair, the last two were 1990 and 1993, respectively), Running on Empty (another one of my FAVORITES - a total tear jerker), and while you're at it, sneak into the 90's again and check out another awesome River Phoenix film, "A Thing Called Love".
